VoyageursA true Minnesota treasure, Voyageurs National Park was granted its designation in 1975. With 4 major lakes and hundreds of islands, this park was meant to be explored by boat - ideally a canoe. Lying in the southern part of the Canadian Shield, Voyageurs contains some of the oldest exposed rock formations in the world. Visit in early summer and you'll likely see orchids, loon chicks, eaglets, and river otters. |
