RedwoodRedwood National Park was established in 1986, the 33rd National Park among America's National Parks. The park resides in the Northern Coast of California and Oregon. Related to the mighty sequoia tree, the redwoods can grow to a height of 350 feet and have a width of 22 feet at their base, making them the tallest tree on earth. Coastal redwoods have been known to live as long as 2,000 years, although the average lifespan is around 500 years. |
